Frequently Asked Questions About Telehealth Addiction Treatment Services
There are a variety of questions that many of our clients may ask. We’ve answered some of the questions below.
What Are the Admissions Steps?
Call or submit the form on this page with your information, and an Admissions Specialist will be in contact to schedule your visit to the facility. Stage regulations now require an in-person visit before virtual care can begin. During that visit, our admissions specialist will review your benefits and assess your need for treatment, specifically determining your eligibility for telehealth addiction treatment. Once determined eligible, we will schedule your initial appointment with a licensed therapist.
How Long Is the Admission Process?
Due to state regulations, an in-person visit must take place before virtual care can begin. This means the admission process relies on your availability to visit our location. An admissions specialist will reach out to you as soon as possible after receiving your application.
How Does the Scheduling Work?
For outpatient treatment, virtual therapists are available Monday through Friday for individual sessions. Intensive outpatient (IOP) sessions typically occur in the evening after work for three hours three times a week. An individual in IOP will have 9 hours of group therapy a week and 1 hour of individual sessions weekly.
How Much Does It Cost?
Most major insurances are accepted. An admissions specialist will verify your benefits as well as discuss additional payment options with you. We do not currently accept Medicaid or Medicare. If insurance doesn’t cover your treatment, our admissions specialists will work with you on choosing one of our flexible payment plans.
Are Online Mental Health Services Available?
Meeting in person can be intimidating, and finding time to go to a mental health facility can be challenging. At Vertava Health, we offer online mental health care for various conditions such as anxiety, PTSD, and depression so that you can get the care and support you need at home. Through our virtual outpatient program, you will regularly work one-on-one with your licensed therapist as well as potentially in groups with people struggling with similar symptoms. Your therapist will create a virtual care program tailored to your specific mental health needs and use proven therapy techniques to help you reduce your symptoms. Length of programming will depend on your progress and goals, but over time, these virtual care sessions may help you drastically reduce or even eliminate your symptoms.
